Litebar®

The Litebar® is a 12 volt, one-metre long extruded 25mm conduit unit, made of either aluminium or plastic – and is designed to directly connect into “off the shelf” electrical conduit.

The revolutionary new Litebar® units can be supplied with IP68 (underwater), IP64 (outdoor weatherproof), or IP20 (indoor) capability. Each 1 metre long unit can be supplied with 60 LEDs, 120 LEDs or 240 LEDs. As you can see from the pictures, the 120 LED unit consists of a double row of 60 LEDs, while the 240 LED units consist of a double row of 120 LEDs.

Another major design advantage is the fact that, being cylindrical, they can be rotated so that the lights can point in any direction, so allowing the customer multi-options as to what they want to highlight. For example, the lights can be focused on the floor, or produce a more subtle effect, by being pointed at the ceiling or down the wall.

The Litebar® is extruded so that the 25mm conduit can have the LED lights at the front pointing in the desired direction, while the wiring travels along a separate section at the back.

As can be seen in the accompanying picture, the Litebars® on the left and in the middle can carry IP20 or IP64 LEDs, while the version on the right is made for the much more substantial underwater IP68 version.

All versions of the Litebars® have been tested over the last five years in challenging climatic conditions, including in the sea, under boats, in swimming pools and under mountain snow.

As a consequence, Sunset Lighting Systems Ltd offer a full 5 year guarantee, so long as they’ve been fitted by an appropriately qualified electrician.

As you can see from the accompanying picture, the IP68 underwater version of the Litebar®, which has an aluminium extrusion, comes fitted with a 3 metre-long cable, so that any connections can be made above the water surface. That said, fully waterproof connectors are available.

The Litebar® units, which have already been highly acclaimed by the growing number of professionals who’ve seen and tested them, have huge sales potential.

And, because of their adaptability to challenging climatic conditions, they have many uses.

These include open air and undercover car parks, industrial units, building sites, tunnels, agricultural buildings, supermarkets, external display units, gardens – and even home security, which is proving to be an increasing source of revenue for electricians.

Finally, even though we’re totally confident in the quality and performance of all of our products, including our Litebars®, we have £10,000,000 insurance cover to reassure our distributors and customers, that in the unlikely event of a mishap, they’re protected.* A copy of our liability insurance policy is available on request to Distributors and Rights holders.
